The Mechanisto renderer now handles multiple layers of transparency.
That's the good news. The bad news is that doing the transparency can be very expensive in terms of memory and rendering time. If you do choose to use transparency, it is best if you only make small objects transparent, or small details on larger objects.
Large transparent objects are difficult for Mechanisto to handle, so just remember you have been warned - keep them small.
